Uchal Festival Kalash Tour - 9-Day Summer Kalash valley Tour Package 2026
We are presenting the most exciting tour of all: the Chitral Tour Package, the Uchal Festival Kalash Tour, available in August 2026. Uchal is a summer cultural festival in Pakistan that is celebrated in the Kalash Valley.
The Kalasha tribe celebrates many festivals throughout the year. The Ushal festivities are celebrated to pay tribute to the Almighty God for blessing them with excellent food and crops. They prepare corn, yogurt, and cheese to celebrate the festival and make Uchal happy.
The Kalash Uchal Festival celebrates the annual barley and wheat harvests in August with song, dance, and tribute to nature. Special foods, such as cheese, yogurt, and cornbread, are prepared on Uchal. Women in traditional clothes dance. During the special prayers, the procession sets off to the plateau outside Balangkuru, where the long night of dancing begins. The celebrations continue for several more days and are moved to different parts of the valley.
