Chilam Joshi Kalash Tour is one of Pakistan’s most important yet unique cultural Spring festivals. The Kalasha tribe celebrates many festivals throughout the year. The three main Kalash festivals are Chilam Joshi (Spring Festival), Choimus (Winter Festival), and Ushal (Summer Festival).
Chilam Joshi Spring Festival is a unique cultural experience in the Hindu Kush Mountains. In November 2018, UNESCO listed Kalash culture as an “intangible cultural heritage”. The decision was announced at the 13th session of the Intergovernmental Committee of UNESCO in Mauritius.
