The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has decided to allow tourism and outdoor dining and relax restrictions imposed to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the country, especially during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
Starting on May 24, the tourism industry will strictly implement standard operating procedures, while allowing restaurants to provide outdoor dining services to customers.
As of May 4, it has also decided to open schools in cities where the Covid positive rate is less than 5%.
Similarly, as of June 1, the National Marriage Chamber Committee has allowed a work of 150 people in total.
According to the latest statistics from the National Anti-Corruption Commission, the death toll in the South Asian country reached nearly 20,000 on Wednesday, and 104 new deaths were reported in one day.

Pakistan reached another grim milestone on Wednesday, killing 20,000 people as the country reported 104 deaths from the coronavirus.
According to official data released by the National Command and Operations Center, 41,771 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, of which 3,256 were positive.
The total number of confirmed cases of the virus in the country is 886,184.
At least 104 people died from the infection, bringing the national death toll to 19,856.
The positive rate for the coronavirus is 7.79%, and about 799,951 people have recovered from the virus across Pakistan.
In the provincial chambers, Sindh province reported 301,247 cases, Punjab province 329,913, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province 127,609, Islamabad 79,552, Baluchistan province 24,064, Azad Chamu and Kashmir 18,360, Gilgit- Baltistan 5,439.
The Private Schools Alliance of Pakistan also held a meeting today before the NMAC review meeting.
The head of the alliance, Akram Sheikh, said that the National Trade Union Committee should immediately announce the reopening of educational institutions.
The chief said that aftermarkets and businesses were allowed to reopen, many cases of coronavirus have been reported nationwide, not after schools reopened.
He said: “We must strictly abide by the standard operating procedures of the coronavirus and, like other departments, reopen educational institutions.” He added that the additional expansion of the closure of educational institutions will bring “irreparable losses” to students.
The chief warned that if the ban is extended beyond May 23, the whole country will protest the decision.
