Hunza Phander Gupis 8 Days Tour Plan

Day 1: Islamabad to Naran

We will begin our tour with a 6-7 hour journey (240 km) by road to Naran, a picturesque hill station located in the Kaghan Valley. Enjoy the green valleys, pine forests, and the crystal-clear Kunhar River along the way. Upon arrival, check into the hotel with a good view of the river. Have a nice evening either in the Naran local market or by the water.

Day 2 Naran to Upper Hunza

After your breakfast, drive out for 7-8 hours (300 km) towards the geographical marvel, the Karakoram Highway, to the northernmost Hunza region (Upper Hunza). Beautiful mountains on our trip to Chilas. Reach Upper Hunza in the evening, and stay overnight in a nice hotel.

Day 3: Day trip to the Hunza Valley

Leave after Breakfast and be ready to visit the Hunza Valley. We shall visit the marvelously beautiful Passu Glacier and admire the stunning Passu Cones. Next, head to Attabad Lake, renowned for its turquoise water, which is perfect for boating. To get more thrill, cross the Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Karimabad visit & drive to Gilgit

Today is the day to explore Karimabad and Altit Fort. We shall begin our day after breakfast, drive 1 hour (50 km) to the center of Hunza, Karimabad. Visit Altit Fort and explore this historical marvel. Take a walk to the Karimabad Bazaar to enjoy shopping for handicrafts, dried fruits, or gemstones. Spend the afternoon on the road, with a 6-hour drive to Gilgit City, where we will check into the comfortable Springfield Resort.

Day 5: Gilgit to Phander Valley

Leave for Phander Valley from Springfield Resort. Take a 4-hour (140 km) drive to the serene and stunning Phander Valley in Ghizer District. It is a green meadow and the beautiful Phander Lake. In the afternoon, we will have a bonfire and participate in a local music jam. Overnight stay at Roomy Hotel Phander Valley.

Day 6: Visit the Gupis valley

After breakfast, we will drive to Gupis Valley, approximately 2.5 hours, usually starting in Phander. Gupis is a hidden city with dazzling scenery and apricot orchards. Visit the spectacular Kalti Lake and enjoy some good time with Mother Nature. Overnight stay at 3 Skies Hotel in Gupis.

Day 7: Gupis to Naran

After having a traditional breakfast, leave Gupis and drive back to Naran, a 7-8 hour drive (180 km) away. In Naran, arrive late in the afternoon or evening, and we will take some rest or do some last-minute shopping at the local bazaar.

Day 8: Naran To Islamabad

It’s time to depart. We will have breakfast and then travel back to Islamabad along the picturesque Karakoram Highway. Different stopovers in Naran, where you can have your lunch or tea. Reach Islamabad in the evening and complete our unforgettable visiting tour.
