6 Day Astore Valley Tour Plan
1st Day: Our first day starts in Islamabad. We pick you up from the desire locations and start our drive on the famous Karakoram Highway to Chilas. The road has nice views of rivers and small towns. It takes one day, then we will reach Chilas in the evening and stay in a good hotel for the night.
2nd Day: On day two, we go from Chilas to the Astore Valley. You see pretty villages on the way. We reach Astore in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we visit Rama Lake, the lake has very clear blue water and mountains all around. We will spend a full day there, you can walk near the lake and take pictures. It feels very peaceful. We stay overnight in the Astore Valley.
3rd Day: Day three is full of fun. We drive from Astore to Raikot Bridge. Then we change to jeeps for a 1.5-hour ride on a rough road. It is exciting. After that, we walk for about 3.5 hours through the trees to reach Fairy Meadows. Importantly, the place has green grass and the best view of Nanga Parbat mountain. We will stay in huts or camps or in cottages here, whatever you perfer.
4th Day: Day four is a relax day in Fairy Meadows. You can take short, easy walks to better views or small lakes. See the sun rise or set on the mountain. Walk on the grass and enjoy the fresh air. At night we will setip a bonefire, with local music and some stories from the locals about the area.
5th Day: On day five, we walk back down for 3 hours to the jeep place. Then a jeep ride for 1.5 hours to the main road. After that, we drive 9 hours to Besham. The views change on the way. We reach Besham in the evening and stay there overnight.
6th Day: It is our last day, we drive 5 hours back to Islamabad with different stopovers, you can think about all the good memories on the way. We shall say you goodbye in Islamabad.
