Cherry Blossom Skardu tour [ Tour Plan ]
- Day 01: Start the tour from Islamabad to Chilas town. We will start the journey at 6 am sharp, as the first day’s journey is long but exciting. We will pass small kohistani villages like Samar Nala, Nassau, and Bonar Farm. Two new hydro dams are being constructed, so expect a bit of delay. The possible arrival time shall be in the evening, around 5.30 pm. Check-in at Shangrila Chilas Midway Hotel in the evening
- Day 02: Breakfast in Chilas & drive towards the newly built Jaglot-Skardu junction, from where it’s only a 4.5-hour drive to Skardu City. We would first visit Kachura Valley, which has two pristine lakes. Check-in at Mountain Lagon Hotel on the same day
- Day 03: Breakfast in Hotel, leave Kachura region & drive towards Khaplu Valley. It would allow us to see pure balti villages on the way. Here, you can witness blossom at Barr Valley along its emerald green water ponds. First, check in at the hotel & then visit Khaplu Palace & chanqchan Mosque on the same day
- Day 04: After breakfast early, our next destination is Shigar Valley, which takes 3 hours of road travel. Here, we shall have a walking tour to Shigar Fort, Old Khanqah, and the morgue mosque. In the evening, we would visit Blind Lake on a 4×4 vehicle as well. We will move to Skardu City and check in at Dynasty Hotel.
- Day 05: We will visit Chunda Valley today; it brings a new perspective to the blossom season. It has a small population and many trees showering pink and white petals. Magical Wonderland welcomes you here. We will spend half a day and return to Skardu for possible shopping time.
- Day 06: After minting memories, we would start our journey back home; we would leave early in the morning towards Besham, which would take nearly 12 hours of a tiring journey. We would check in at Besham Hotel after a long day.
- Day 07: Today is the last day of the tour trip. We will only travel 05 hours and reach Islamabad at the end of the tour.
