The Ministry of Tourism and Marketing of the Emirates announced that users of the Dubai video conferencing application can download free images to show the beauty and diversity of Dubai destinations and use them as backgrounds.
The ministry said in a statement: “As the global popularity and global work ecosystem embraces virtual environments and more and more people work from home, the Dubai Tourism Authority has stepped in to help make remote communication and cooperation a truly unique experience, immersive and positive.”
In the latest initiative, the department provides video and web conference users with the opportunity to download free images that represent the diversity of Dubai products to create a customized digital stage as wallpaper.
Dubai Tourism Board encourages users to use the default background function of their system to get more creative experience. Users can download “Free Dubai Video Call Background” and use it as the default setting while using video conferencing applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Webex to chat with colleagues and business partners, or with family and friends.
The department also created an interesting digital family activity that allows children and adults to download colouring tables of popular attractions in Dubai. Families and children can use their artistic skills to add their favourite colours to the beautiful design representing Dubai, to have fun at home. The colouring page can be downloaded here.
