Yet another good news for Pakistan Tourism Industry according to the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index 2017 released by the World Economic Forum, Pakistan elevated to 124 out of 136 countries.
Following the domestic survey, Pakistan captures a million international tourist in 2016 and receiving an estimated amount of $317 million. Moreover, Travel and Tourism Industry of Pakistan adds approximately 2.8% of total GDP that is worth $7.362 billion annually. Additionally, with an increase in total GDP of the country, there is also an increase in employment, which is 2.4% of total employment.
Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index 2017 is discriminated by government expense, retailing and imprinting to impress tourists and lack of extensive travel and tourism data. Due to some lack of information, Pakistan ranked 124 of the 136 countries.
Pakistan is so blessed in each module that captures tourist to this wonderland.
